This introductory level guided meditation video is a tool designed to help facilitate the recognition of your pure being, your essential nature, your true self. Imagination, visualization, and creativity are not required or desired. You are guided through a process of letting go of thoughts, feelings, sensations, and everything that is perceived. You let go by removing or extracting your interest and attention in these objects of perception, as well as your identification with them. You are also guided to suspend identification with, or identification as, the body. This includes letting go of the sense of being the body, and the senses of the body such as hearing, sight, touch, and so on, as well as letting go of any sense of location. Toward the end of the meditation, you are instructed to also let go of any sense of "me" or "I". Through the process of letting go of all of the objects of perception, you can more easily recognize and confirm what remains. This that remains, is Awareness. As you recognize this, you are asked to confirm that this Awareness is right where you are...not separate from you.
