It will be 'easier' for Labour voters to vote Tory again, says Tony Blair The former Labour leader said that after its historic general election defeat in December it was clear the party needed a "fundamental reconstruction" if it were to win again.

"The Tories are going to be dominant, they are going to try and create a real hegemony," Mr Blair told an audience at Kings College London.

"Our voters, once they’ve voted Tory the first time...the second time it might be easier for them."
