This weeks LookUP Verse Series episode is from my buddy David Thomson. David just started @pursuing_az to showcase hunting stories from Arizona. Their isn’t much of a page to share all that’s happening in Arizona, so he is trying to do that, go check it out! But I met David a few years ago through Instagram and we quickly struck it off. Since then, we have prayed for one another, kept in touch, shared hunting stories, talked life, and shared our passion and love for our faith. David works for a company helping others learn about outdoor survival and gear. He made us up what’s called an IFAK (little trauma kit) so that when we are out in the backcountry, we have resources!

David goes through what a lot of us go through when reading the Bible. A thought turns into a journey of discovery. He struggled with and I am sure most of us do, inserting God and our faith into the workplace. How do we do it to help share the gospel and our passion for Christ?
Well he digs deeper, answers more questions, which then led to more scripture and a deeper connection with God which then helped him directly apply what he was learning to his life.
This is what we should strive for. To learn more, to see that the Bible is truly all connected to help us live a life more aligned with Jesus and more aligned with following Gods plan for our life.
I hope you enjoy this episode and it encourages you to be courageous in inserting your faith into the workplace, by working for God and not people, but also to know the journey it may be when you start really digging into Gods word. This episode, coming after last weeks about reading God’s word is perfect because last week we learned some of the importance of reading the Bible. You would honestly be surprised at the number of people who have been nervous to share how they feel about the verse or verses they chose and then eventually made a video for this series.
Don’t be nervous, sharing your convictions and thoughts is part of the journey. Part of the journey for you, and part of the journey for others to seek information, to learn about Jesus Christ and our God. You’re not alone, step out and share your passion for God.
