The Ink Spots - Thoughtless (1945)

The Ink Spots - Thoughtless (1945) The Ink Spots are as dear of a band to me as it they are to Austin Casey and Marv Goldberg. That is why I must refuse to give a Discographical History segment about them. That is a story you must read or maybe someday watch ;) But I will do something that No one else on the website has done though. I have the actual Record Review for these records from Billboard.

"Having Ironed Out their internal differences, the Ink Spots return to the disks, and with Bill Kenny's soprano-scaled pipes still ringing true, the foursome should continue from where they left off. For Both of these sides, following the identical winning pattern, are designed to spot the Spots in warm hearts. With the talking sequences to bridge his song, Kenny caries the lead all the way, selling both ballads like a million. "I'd Climb The Highest Mountain" is the Lew Brow-Sidney Clare classic of a couple of decades ago and ripe to start a revival of interest. And there should be just as much enthusiasm for Jerry Livingston and Mack David's sentimental song, "Thoughtless" "
