Your gun being out is prioritized over your own decisions

It’s just another one of those things that doesn’t quite make sense in the game so obviously there are bigger things that they need to be concerned about & fixing but still.

If you haven’t gone out run to your horse jump on it and then try to look through your tonics it will pull you out of the menu, you the player the one in control will be removed from control to prioritize pulling your gun back out. Like having my gun out is good & all but I would like whatever I’m doing to come first because I’m supposed to be in control of my character.

It’s like how your character will automatically holstering the weapons to the horse when you don’t want to it just doesn’t ask for permission. And this action of automatically holstering the weapon can even make you close out a treasure map that you’re trying to open to prioritize putting away your gun.
