The SANDF hosted their annual Armed Forces Week in the city of Polokwane. The week was filled with great activities hosted by the different branches of the SANDF, namely: Navy, Army and Air Force. The first highlight of the week was the Capability Demonstration and Night Shoot held on the Tuesday at Roodewal Bombing Range. Members of the media were flown from Air Force Base Waterkloof to Polokwane International Airport in a chartered A340 from SAA.
The second highlight of the week was the Main Parade held at Peter Mokaba Stadium on the Friday. Unfortunately members of the media could not be transported fast enough to the media area and we missed all of the flypasts.
I don't have any content of the Parade on Friday to make any worthwhile video. There will thus only be a website post with some photos of the event.
