It was this comment that had many concerned that the president was advocating for people with COVID-19 to go to work/school.
However, these comments directly contradict the advice given by the CDC.
While it is true that the majority of people will only have mild symptoms if they contract COVID-19.
However, 1 in 5 will need to be hospitalized.
For this reason, the CDC and the WHO are advising people to self-quarantine and restrict all activities that would send them outside the home.
