Investing in sustainable energy: wind & solar -- blowing hot and cold

Investing in sustainable energy: wind & solar -- blowing hot and cold World Sustainable Energy Days (4 - 6 March 2020) is an annual sustainability conference held in Austria. It hosts events centred on sustainable energy production and use, which covers energy efficiency and renewable energy sources for buildings, industry and transport.

In part one of a three part series we take a closer look at what's driving the energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables. We also delve into how wind and solar are the dominant forms of renewable energy in the UK and pose the question: how do we store this energy?

We ask a number of fund managers and specialists their thoughts on the matter:
- Jonathan Waghorn, energy specialist at Guinness Asset Management
- James Mahon, fund manager of Elite Rated Church House Tenax Absolute Return Strategies
- Will Argent, fund advisor of Elite Radar VT Gravis UK Infrastructure Income
- Stuart Springham, co-manager of Elite Rated TM home investor
- Rebecca Myatt, portfolio manager of Elite Rated First State Global Listed Infrastructure
- Deirdre Cooper, fund manager of Elite Radar Investec Global Environment
