Moon tells officials to ensure supply of face masks for the public

President Moon Jae-in has called for officials to ensure that there are enough protective face masks for the people... with the coronavirus causing a shortage.
The president was briefed Wednesday by finance minister Hong Nam-ki on the economic effects of the outbreak and the government's response.
Noting that South Korea has started regulating the exports of face masks,... Moon said that the average person needs to be able to buy them when needed.
He stressed that the most important thing is to ensure that people feel the effects of the government's measures.
To this, Hong said that masks are being supplied to local pharmacies and designated retailers such as Korea Post and the agricultural cooperative Nonghyup... and that the vice minister will be monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
